About Clayton

Clayton is a neighbourhood that was built over a decade ago. At the time, the community plan was considered to be on the verge of greatness because it took into consideration the trend of rapid urban growth.

The community, located in South East Surrey, BC is high-density community. It was created and designed by the City of Surrey and UBC Design Centre for Sustainability. Together they tried to reimagine what a suburb community would look like.

 

Living In Clayton

Clayton is located just north of Fraser Highway. It is just south of 72 Ave and east of 188th St. It touches the Langley border of Langley at 196 St.

It’s a 560 acre community with over 15,000 homes. With such a population it is quite packed living conditions. Many residents that we serve with lawn care in this community complain about the lack of parking and dense population.

Things To Do In Clayton

Clayton is the first of it’s kind and being it has been around for a while as an urban neighbourhood developed within the Clayton Heights area, there is lots to do here.

There are many shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and parks to name a few. There are also some nice Airbnb’s to stay at in Clayton as well.

With the rapidly growing population the activities for families and visitors continues to expand as well. There are also plenty of schools in the area.
